How to set a domain and install your Keyword Catcher Tracking code.
IMPORTANT REMARKS:
Keyword Catcher will intercept information that is sent to your website's server by way of traffic to the pages. This information is usually included in what all servers normally exchange among one another.
It will only track traffic coming to your website's pages that contain the tracking code.
Direct visits can not be tracked, because users type in your website's page address directly into their browser's address bar and therefore contains no referring information to gather.
We have excluded visits from web bots to avoid cluttering the referrer pages.
You must have set a domain to track before you can install your Keyword Catcher Tracking code.
How to set a domain to track if you have not done this already.
a) Log in to Keyword Catcher
b) Click on the "Domains" tab
c) In the "Domain name" box, enter your domain name
IMPORTANT REMARK:
If you have set your Permalink structure to display your domain name with the "www" prefix in the browser address bar, then you must also enter the "www" prefix into the box.
If you have not set your domain Permalink structure to display the "www" prefix in the browser address bar, then enter the domain name without the prefix.
If you do not make this distinction, the tracker will not function properly.
You can either enter your domain name with or without subdomain.
For example you can enter: domain.tld or subdomain.domain.tld
Do not add a back slash "/" at the end of the domain name.
The "Active" check box:
Checking this box will activate tracking for the domain, unchecking the box deactivates tracking for the domain.
The "Track search engines" box:
Checking this box will activate tracking for the different search engines mentioned to the right of the boxes below, provided you check all the boxes that are available.
Unchecking this box will deactivate tracking on all search engines.
You can also choose to track a single or several of the search engines available.
If you do not wish to track keywords from search engines, you can turn them off altogether by unchecking the box.
You can also track only keywords that came from checked search engine while ignoring the rest. To do that, leave checked only the search engine you want results for.

If you do not wish to track referral URLs, uncheck this box.
